Overturning a negative decision!

Our client visited our office in September with the intention of applying for a residence permit based on employment grounds.

Despite TE-Office multiple efforts to reach out to the employer in order to receive information for the partial decision, they were unable to establish contact due to a miscommunication and an incorrect address provided, resulting in no response from the employer.

Consequently, we received a negative partial decision from the TE-Office on our client’s application. However, taking charge of the situation, we promptly reached out to the employer to inform them about the issue.

Unfortunately, the employer’s response was delayed by one month due to accountant being very slow on his requests, ultimately leading to the negative final decision issued from the Finnish Immigration Service. Given our commitment to our clients, we decided to appeal the case to the Finnish Administrative Court.

The process of the Administrative Court returning the case back to Finnish Immigration Service and receiving a positive decision from the Finnish Immigration Service took approximately four months.

It is worth noting that despite the challenges faced, our client eventually received the desired residence permit. We are extremely pleased with this outcome!
