We made it! Another positive decision.

This client came to our office after receiving an initial rejection for his first employment-based residence permit.

Normally, when you get a rejection in such cases, deportation order is executable immediately. However, due to the summer holidays and the heavy workload at the Finnish Immigration Office, our client got a bit more time. We made the most of this time. Essentially, we appealed the case to the Administrative Court and waited for their preliminary decision, which we never received considering the holiday season.

The police didn’t contact our client about deportation, and we had a two-month time window. Within these two months, we re-applied for a new residence permit.We addressed the issues our client was facing, and we managed to secure his first residence permit before the deportation order could be carried out.
