Another Positive Decision!

This time, a family came to us after both spouses had received negative decisions from the Finnish Immigration Service regarding their residence permit applications. They were facing serious uncertainty about their future in Finland, and turned to us for legal support and strategic guidance.
We immediately appealed the decisions to the Administrative Court and began advising the couple on how to adjust their legal and employment situations to meet the residence permit requirements. After carefully reviewing their circumstances, we proposed a smart and tailored approach: switching the grounds for each of their residence permit applications.
We advised them on preparing and structuring valid employment contracts and ensured all supporting documents complied with the Finnish Immigration Service’s expectations. Once everything was in order, we submitted the new applications—this time with a strategic shift. The spouse who had initially applied based on family ties now applied on employment grounds, while the other spouse applied as a family member.
After a long process involving cooperation with the authorities and careful presentation of the facts, both applications were accepted. The Finnish Immigration Service granted four-year residence permits to both spouses—one based on employment and the other based on family ties—with full work rights.
We are proud to have guided this family through a complex situation to a successful resolution. Congratulations to them both on their approved residence permits and continued life together in Finland!
Our office will continue providing high-quality legal and administrative services, understanding that immigration matters can significantly impact lives and futures. If you’re facing challenges with your residence permit, do not hesitate to reach out to us for professional assistance.
