And Another Positive Decision!

This time our client came to our office with a negative decision from the Finnish Immigration Service regarding her application for a residence permit for a European Union citizen family member.
Understanding the entire case we had to appeal it first to the Administrative Court, meanwhile looking for alternative solutions. Our client told us that she was studying which is why we used this situation to apply for a new residence permit based on studies.

As expected we received the first additional information request from the Finnish Immigration Service asking us to change the grounds because the field that our client´s studies in is connected to the employment grounds. We responded to the additional information request from the Finnish Immigration Service requesting a cancellation of the previous residence permit grounds and taking into consideration the new one based on employment grounds.

We received the second additional information request from the Finnish Immigration Service enquiring about a missing document from the employer so we had to react fast and contact the employer to provide all the missing documents in order to get the preliminary positive decision from TE-Office.

Unexpectedly, we received the third additional information request from the Finnish Immigration Service enquiring the clarification of the situation regarding the expired passport of our client, we responded to the additional information request by explaining that our client has renewed her passport and sent them a copy of it.
After one day only of responding to the last additional information request our client received a positive decision.

Congratulation to our client for receiving residence permit type “B” until the end of her study period.
We are happy that our client trusted us in this case. We wish other clients facing the same or similar situation – of having already issues with negative decisions and needing to appeal the case to the Administrative Court and those who never had issues but started the process from the beginning – to contact us with expectations to receive similar results. We always strive to provide the best services to our clients!

Our office will continue providing legal and/or administrative services with diligence and empathy, as immigration matters can significantly impact people’s lives. If you are facing legal issues, do not hesitate to contact us!
