Olivia Kumpula

Olivia Kumpula is an experienced lawyer from Nigeria, who also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Lapland obtained in 2016 specialising in Transcultural Business Law. Having lived in Finland for over a decade, she has dedicated a huge part of her time in providing guidance and support to those who are moving to Finland for study, work or family reasons.

As one of the vibrant voices in the international community in Finland, Olivia actively works to ensure the successful transition of international professionals into the Finnish society and labour market. She is the founder of InterProFinland, a nonprofit organisation that provides customised guidance and mentorship to international professionals, assisting them to establish their previous qualifications from their home country, and use their skills in Finland. Over the years, she has sharpened her skills in handling some of the complex challenges faced by many people within the international community in Finland.

As an EURES (European Employment Services) Advisor and Trainer, Olivia possesses valuable expertise in EU Labour Mobility and Qualifications Recognition in Finland. She is dedicated to working with the Appeals and Cases Law Office team of experts to ensure that international professionals in Finland thrive in their pursuit of a career in their new home country, free of legal and administrative hassles!
