The wife stands accused of attempted murder and gross assaults. Both the client and the wife are also accused of gross assaults on a separate allegation. The main allegation is that the mother who was held in prison would be guilty of a murder attempt.

Appeals & Cases Lawyer, LL.M. Joonas Metsämäki and the team made the best possible effort in court to defend the father whose charges were not as serious as the mother’s. The client, the father was only accused of gross assaults and gross neglicence – charges that we think that are completely baseless. During the court procedure the case gained media coverage.

Appeals & Cases was happy to find that after thorough consideration Länsi-Uusimaa District Court decided to release the mother from prison after three months until the verdict is given. The Court will give the decision on the substance matter later. Appeals & Cases mentions that the lawyer of the mother made an excellent effort in resisting the, charges, the imprisonment and in making the mother’s release possible. We are hoping for the court decision to be the best possible so that the parties could continue their lives.

Appeals & Cases now asks the media to respect the privacy of the family and the client.
