Another Ban Removed! Another Residence Permit Issued!

Our client contacted our office with a very difficult case, since he had received a negative decision from the Finnish Immigration Service and a three-year ban. 

We had to think twice before taking this case, since this type of case is considered impossible to pull through by many, not by us. We decided eventually to undertake the case and appeal the negative decision of the Finnish Immigration Service to the Administrative Court. 

Simultaneously with the appeal, we applied for a new residence permit application together with a form that its purpose is to remove the ban. Usually, the decision-makers have in mind that they also have to check the aspect of removing the ban when a new residence permit application is applied. We wanted to make sure they would take it into consideration and thus, added it together with a very strong statement. 

Our arguments were strong enough to move the decision-maker and introduce the situation in detail. Whoever understood the case of our client could also understand why there was a need for the ban to be removed and a new residence permit to be issued.  

We are happy to announce that the Finnish Immigration Service has removed the three-year ban from our client and has issued his first-ever residence permit based on employment grounds. With our goal being to make the lives of immigrants better, this brought us one step closer on realizing it!
