Another Positive Decision in less than a month!
Two parents came to our office and asked us to help them bring their child from the Philippines to Finland. Earlier we had processed successfully the residence permit based on family ties for a spouse of a person with a residence permit.
We are happy to see that the Finnish Immigration Service is referring to the article 6, paragraph 1 of the Finnish Alien’s Act in their decision:
“In any decisions taken under this Act that concern a child under eighteen years of age, special
attention shall be paid to the best interest of the child and to circumstances related to the child’s
development and health.“
We are even happier to see that Finnish Immigration Service has respected the Article 6, paragraph 3 of the Finnish Alien’s Act and made their decision in less than a month:
“Matters concerning minors shall be processed with urgency.“
The family now is complete! We hope that we will receive more positive decisions for those in need of our services in the near future.
